A Sad Passing

The tiny village of Warrington was rocked today by the discovery of Harrold Hedgehog, found dead outside his grass pile. Harrold's spiny body was found intact with no visible damage; however, the chief suspect remains Sam the cat, who is being held without bail for questioning. Other possible causes of death include herbicide or rabbit poison.

Neighborhood children were thrown into an uproar at today's discovery. Estelle screamed to Tallulah, who came running. Lachlan and James also rushed to the scene. Finally the coroner, Jeremy Beck, arrived and brought closure to the situation when he shoveled the corpse into a nearby bush. Warrington residents describe Harrold as a shy citizen who suffered insecurities due to his status as an introduced species and kept largely to himself.
